Manual Review

Review AI extraction results, correct fields, and approve or reject certificates.

After the AI extracts data from a certificate, a human review step ensures accuracy before compliance is finalized. This is especially important for fields flagged with medium or low confidence.

Reviewing Extraction Results

  1. Open the certificate from the vendor's record or the Certificates list.
  2. The review screen shows the original PDF on the left and extracted fields on the right.
  3. Fields are color-coded by confidence:
    • Green — High confidence, auto-accepted.
    • Yellow — Medium confidence, review recommended.
    • Red — Low confidence, manual verification required.

Correcting Fields

  1. Click any extracted field to edit its value.
  2. Reference the PDF preview to verify the correct value.
  3. After making corrections, the field's confidence badge updates to Manual to indicate human review.

Corrections Trigger Re-Evaluation

When you correct a field that affects compliance (e.g., a coverage limit), Inori immediately re-evaluates the record's compliance status against the project requirements.

Approving a Certificate

Once you have reviewed all flagged fields:

  1. Click Approve Certificate at the bottom of the review screen.
  2. The certificate status changes to Verified.
  3. The vendor's compliance record updates accordingly.

Rejecting a Certificate

If the certificate is invalid, unreadable, or does not belong to the vendor:

  1. Click Reject Certificate.
  2. Enter a reason for rejection in the dialog.
  3. The vendor is notified and prompted to upload a corrected document.
