Notification Rules

Configure per-type notification toggles, frequency, and quiet hours.

Notification rules let you control which events trigger alerts and how often you receive them.

Notification Types

Navigate to Settings > Notifications to toggle each notification type on or off:

NotificationDescription
Record status changedA record moves to a new compliance status.
COI uploadedA new certificate is uploaded to a record.
COI expiring soonA certificate expires within the configured warning window.
Vendor addedA new vendor is created in the organization.
Escalation triggeredAn escalation rule fires on a non-compliant record.
Report readyA scheduled report has been generated.
Team member joinedA new member accepts an invitation.

Delivery Channels

Each notification type can be delivered via:

  • In-app — Appears in the notification bell in the top navigation.
  • Email — Sent to your account email address.

Toggle each channel independently per notification type.

Frequency

Choose how notifications are batched:

  • Instant — Receive each notification as it happens.
  • Daily digest — One summary email per day at your preferred time.
  • Weekly digest — One summary email per week.

Per-User Setting

Notification preferences are personal. Each team member configures their own notification rules from their profile settings.

Quiet Hours

Set quiet hours to pause email notifications during off-hours:

  1. Enable Quiet Hours in the notification settings.
  2. Set a start time and end time (in your local timezone).
  3. Choose which days quiet hours apply (e.g., weekends only, or every day).

During quiet hours, notifications are queued and delivered when quiet hours end. In-app notifications are unaffected.
