Notification Rules
Configure per-type notification toggles, frequency, and quiet hours.
Notification rules let you control which events trigger alerts and how often you receive them.
Notification Types
Navigate to Settings > Notifications to toggle each notification type on or off:
| Notification | Description |
|---|---|
| Record status changed | A record moves to a new compliance status. |
| COI uploaded | A new certificate is uploaded to a record. |
| COI expiring soon | A certificate expires within the configured warning window. |
| Vendor added | A new vendor is created in the organization. |
| Escalation triggered | An escalation rule fires on a non-compliant record. |
| Report ready | A scheduled report has been generated. |
| Team member joined | A new member accepts an invitation. |
Delivery Channels
Each notification type can be delivered via:
- In-app — Appears in the notification bell in the top navigation.
- Email — Sent to your account email address.
Toggle each channel independently per notification type.
Frequency
Choose how notifications are batched:
- Instant — Receive each notification as it happens.
- Daily digest — One summary email per day at your preferred time.
- Weekly digest — One summary email per week.
Per-User Setting
Notification preferences are personal. Each team member configures their own notification rules from their profile settings.
Quiet Hours
Set quiet hours to pause email notifications during off-hours:
- Enable Quiet Hours in the notification settings.
- Set a start time and end time (in your local timezone).
- Choose which days quiet hours apply (e.g., weekends only, or every day).
During quiet hours, notifications are queued and delivered when quiet hours end. In-app notifications are unaffected.
