ACORD 185

A standardized ACORD form used as a supplemental schedule page to list additional locations, vehicles, or items that exceed the space available on primary application forms.

The ACORD 185 supplemental schedule page extends primary ACORD application and certificate forms when the number of scheduled items exceeds available space. This form accommodates additional vehicle schedules, property locations, equipment lists, and other itemized data that must be documented for underwriting or certification purposes.

In COI compliance, the ACORD 185 appears as an attachment to certificates when vendors have numerous scheduled items. For example, a fleet operator's commercial auto certificate may reference an attached ACORD 185 listing all scheduled vehicles, or a contractor's equipment floater may include supplemental schedules for all covered machinery.

Compliance teams should ensure that automated certificate processing systems capture ACORD 185 attachments alongside primary certificates. Missing supplemental schedules can create incomplete compliance records, particularly when contractual requirements specify that certain vehicles or locations must be individually scheduled on the vendor's coverage.
